🧠 Why “since”?

We use:

 • ✅ “since” when we refer to the starting point of something — a specific time or date.

 • ➤ Example: since 8 AM, since Monday, since 2020

 • ❌ “for” is used for a duration — how long something has happened.

 • ➤ Example: for 3 hours, for a week, for two years

✅ Correct Answer: B) a 👍

🧠 Why “a”?

 • “a” is used when you’re talking about any one hotel, not a specific one.

👉 The hotel hasn’t been mentioned before — it’s new information.

 • “the” would be used only if the listener already knows which hotel you’re talking about.

👉 Example: We stayed at the hotel we booked last month.

📚 Grammar Tip of the Day

👉 The word “its” (no apostrophe) is not the same as “it’s” (with an apostrophe)!

✨ Here’s the difference:

 • ✅ “It’s” = it is or it has

➤ It’s raining outside. ☔ (= It is raining)

➤ It’s been a long day. 😩 (= It has been)

 • ✅ “Its” = possessive form of “it” (something belongs to it)

➤ The cat licked its paw. 🐱🖐️ (The paw belongs to the cat)

🧠 Quick Trick:

If you can say “it is” or “it has”, use “it’s”.

If not, use “its”.
